Software Engineer II · Django · React · AWS
Remote from Chihuahua, México
I build things that scale. Backend systems, frontend experiences, and everything in between — with a sharp eye for clean architecture and code that actually makes sense six months later.
I'm a software engineer working in fintech, where I design and build systems that handle real money and real scale. My day-to-day lives in Python and Django on the backend, React on the frontend, and AWS as the glue that holds it together.
I operate best when I'm owning hard problems end-to-end — from database migrations under production pressure to stakeholder communication in both Spanish and code. I'm also the person on my team who reads the docs before asking questions.
When I'm not writing code, I'm probably choosing the next book for my club, opening a bottle of wine, or learning something I didn't know I needed to know.
Monthly reader, occasional lurker-turned-enthusiast. I joined to push past my comfort zone and now I look forward to it every time.
From blind tastings with friends to weeknight pours — wine is a hobby, a conversation, and honestly a legitimate reason to gather people.
Still learning, always playing. It's one of the few things that demands complete presence — no context switching allowed.
Chihuahua has remarkable dark skies. A telescope, binoculars, and a blanket is all it takes to feel appropriately small.
The Sims 2, Zoo Tycoon, Silent Hill 2 — my childhood in three games. Still building little lives, managing little ecosystems, and occasionally scaring myself.
Cooking is my other kind of problem solving — constraints, creativity, and a satisfying output you can actually eat.
Whether you have an opportunity, a project idea, or just want to talk tech (or wine) — my inbox is open.
